When I’m not doing sumo, I’m a freelance director of photography. I like to drink in new and exotic places.

My favorite rikishi are Chiyonofuji and Terao.
Chad Neu (Dark Circle Sumo Club) is my rival because he is my senpai, Justin Kizzart’s, top deshi.

TRAVEL GOALS
I want to do sumo in Japan with local clubs, school clubs and with rikishi in heya. I would like to travel to Ireland, Italy, Morocco and the Mojave Desert for leisure.
CLUB GOALS
I want to make Dallas Sumo Club “America’s Sumo Club”.
FAVORITE COLOR
My favorite color is probably purple now, but it used to be blue.
FAVORITE ANIMAL
My favorite wild animal is the hyena, the Okamisan of the Sub-Sahara.
SUMO ADVICE
I’m ready to die in the dohyō - I hope you are too, should we meet at the shikiri-sen.
BEFORE A TOURNAMENT
I haven’t figured out good tournament preparations yet, I always try to get more matches at keiko during the lead up… But it’s hard to focus on my style of sumo and be an oyakata simultaneously.
MEMORABLE BOUTS
The bouts that I remember are the ones I lose, I’m able to forget them after I’m about to defeat those sumotori in competition. So I don’t like to think too much about my “memorable bouts”.
SUMO STYLE
I usually end up in yotsu-zumo, but I prefer oshi-zumo.
